Offered by Canberra Jazz Membership, Geoff Energy’s Nice Gatsby Orchestra will carry three hours of free dwell jazz to the Canberra Southern Cross Membership on Sunday from 1pm to 4pm. The 11-piece orchestra will ship sizzling jazz, dance music and novelty songs from the Twenties and Nineteen Thirties and into the Swing Period together with music from Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, King Oliver, Al Jolson, Jelly Roll Morton and Bix Beiderbecke.
