NSW Opposition chief Mark Speakman says the circumstances have modified since Dominic Perrottet said his place on the Voice to Parliament.
Mr Speakman’s remarks come after it was revealed that the Coalition in New South Wales is not going to bind its members to a sure place on the Indigenous Voice to Parliament forward of the referendum later this 12 months.
“Premier Perrottet, as he then was, supported a Voice to Parliament in precept,” Mr Speakman advised Sky Information Australia.
“What we now have is a proposal for a Voice to the chief as properly, we’ve seen the element of the wording.”
He mentioned he’s “sympathetic” to the thought of the Voice however has been involved concerning the wording of the referendum.
