The Linda Lindas launch their retro new single “Decision/Revolution” forward of their set at Lollapalooza later this week.
The college-aged punk outfit have had a whirlwind summer time, to say the least. Earlier this summer time, they launched diner-inspired “Too Many Issues.” Final month, the band closed Bratmobile’s first present in 20 years to help the riot grrrl icons with a canopy of the Runaways’ “Cherry Bomb.” Now, the Linda Lindas are rocking out stadiums as they spend the summer time opening for Paramore on their area tour.
“Decision/Revolution,” a spirited punk tirade, pays homage to the teenager band’s riot grrrl influences, with a thumping ’90s bassline and crunching guitars. A product of generations of underground music in LA and past, the Linda Lindas channel post-punk into timelessly catchy songs.

“Bela had been rocking out to lots of Pantera and Judas Priest once we began writing ‘Decision/Revolution,'” the band say of their newest monitor. “She got here in with a riff, and as we labored collectively, it morphed right into a composition about making small dents in large issues to make a distinction in the long term.” The nostalgic lyric music video options clips that the band shot on their telephones over the previous couple of months.
The Linda Lindas will hit Lollapalooza on Aug. 5 and proceed their summer time North American tour with Paramore. Following the Paramore exhibits, the quartet will open for Yeah Yeah Yeahs in Mexico.
