Director John Woo‘s new motion film Silent Night time is formally set to open in theaters early this coming December.
Lionsgate has introduced that it’ll launch Silent Night time on Friday, December 1, 2023. The movie marks Woo’s first American theatrical launch since 2003’s Paycheck. It stars Joel Kinnaman (The Suicide Squad), Scott Mescudi (MaXXXine), Harold Torres (Run Coyote Run), and Catalina Sandino Moreno (Ballerina).

“From legendary director John Woo and the producer of John Wick comes the gritty revenge story of a tormented father (Joel Kinnaman) who witnesses his younger son die when caught in a gang’s crossfire on Christmas Eve,” an official synopsis for Silent Night time reads.
“Whereas recovering from a wound that prices him his voice, Kinnaman makes vengeance his life’s mission and embarks on a punishing coaching routine with a purpose to avenge his son’s demise,” it continues. “Stuffed with Woo’s signature fashion, Silent Night time redefines the motion style with visceral thrill-a-minute storytelling.”
Woo directed Silent Night time from a screenplay by Robert Archer Lynn. Woo additionally serves as a producer on the movie alongside Christian Mercuri, Lori Tilkin deFelice, Basil Iwanyk, and Erica Lee.
Silent Night time premieres in theaters on December 1.
