The obvious alternative? It’s within the title. Friday the thirteenth, which launched in 1980, would go on to spawn a whole horror franchise in its title. The movie gave life to one of many style’s most iconic killers Jason Voorhees — a hockey mask-faced assassin who’s ruthlessly searching for revenge.
For one thing extra thrilling — and lots much less gory — The Conjuring will scare the pants off of anybody. The supernatural flick tells the story of a household residing in a house possessed by a demon. Following its 2013 field workplace success, The Conjuring expanded its cinematic universe with three follow-up movies and the Annabelle prequel motion pictures.
