Lebanon’s caretaker Agriculture Minister, Abbas Al-Hajj Hassan, has confirmed that Israeli forces have burned down over 40,000 historic olive bushes in southern Lebanon.
The destruction was reportedly carried out utilizing internationally banned white phosphorus bombs. Al-Hajj Hassan revealed that the Lebanese authorities is within the means of submitting a grievance with the United Nations, condemning Israel’s violation of worldwide legislation and Lebanese sovereignty.
