A lone pigeon has induced site visitors chaos at peak hour on the Sydney Harbour Tunnel.
The hen was flying at nice speeds over a truck and tripped the over peak sensors about 4.25pm on Wednesday, inflicting the southbound lane to close.
The truck, believed to have triggered the sensor, was stopped and reversed into the slip lane.
Site visitors grew to about two kilometres and motorists have been advised to make use of the Harbour Bridge till the tunnel was reopened about 20 minutes later.
The truck remained with police on the scene for about an hour till it was cleared to depart.
