Rep. Lauren Boebert’s ex-husband says he thinks the restraining order she was granted in opposition to him is “merciless and unfair.”
“It’s a jail sentence to maintain me from my household,” Jayson Boebert informed the Denver-based media outlet Westword on Wednesday.
The Colorado Republican was granted a brief restraining order in opposition to her ex-husband on Friday. The congresswoman accused her ex of attacking their teenage son throughout a combat on January 9 and for threatening to hurt her a number of instances.
Boebert informed Westword that he did not make any threats in opposition to his ex-wife. He additional accused her of utilizing the restraining order to justify her resolution to change congressional districts.
In December, Lauren Boebert introduced that she would transfer from Colorado’s third congressional District to the extra conservative 4th congressional District.
