Since Russian President Vladimir Putin’s forces launched its full scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, a whole bunch of hundreds of lives have been misplaced on the battlefield or on account of the Russian bombing of Ukrainian cities.
Roughly 422 of these killed have been Ukrainian athletes, Ukraine’s Nationwide Olympic Committee informed Enterprise Insider by e-mail not too long ago.
The Sports activities Committee of Ukraine, a corporation that focuses on growing non-Olympic sports activities in Ukraine, has since created a “requiem” web site referred to as “Sports activities Angels” for these athletes who’ve misplaced their lives within the battle.
