After a month-long PlayStation Stars outage, it seems the service is now again in operation for some customers in North America after a brief stint of regional part rollouts. It’s unclear what triggered this outage, whether or not it was a malicious hack or some type of technical challenge.
Reddit customers say some PS Stars performance has returned to North America, with some customers in a position to entry it after updating the PS App. PSX Excessive (particularly me in Alaska) remains to be unable to entry Stars, so we will’t verify something.
PlayStation Stars, the little-known loyalty program launched by Sony again in 2022, suffered a large outage for many of June. Contemplating this was smack dab throughout Days of Play, Sony has needed to subsidize the PS Stars rewards with Astro Bot avatars.
