Noemie Fox will keep it up the household title into the Canoe Slalom KX-1 finals after she blitzed her competitors for the quarter-final win, sending her into the semi’s.
The youthful sister of Olympic famous person Jess, Noemie took the drop and was locked in a battle with New Zealand’s Luuka Jones.
On the barrel roll, Fox took the suitable pylon with ease whereas the remainder of the pack was stumped on the left gate.
The world No.11 didn’t let the chance slip, with Fox breaking away from the pack early.
Jones was on the chase on the fifth gate, however Fox was too good and slipped away on the sixth, finally taking the quarterfinal win.
Simply the highest two would earn spots to maneuver on, and Fox left no room for error with the comfy win as she is gunning to hitch her sister in medal glory.
Whereas the Australian was all smiles, her German competitor Ricarda Funk copped a canoe to the face because the pack grew to become congested on the first gate.
The youthful Fox could have little time to relaxation, with the semifinals up at 10.15pm and 10.20pm.
