Grownup Swim on Thursday dropped the official trailer for Rick and Morty‘s long-awaited sixth season, giving followers merely a style of the insanity to come back when new episodes start on Sunday, Sept. 4 (11/10c).
Along with sampling Rick’s playlist for ass kicking, the trailer features a good little Die Onerous reference, a shot of Rick utilizing Jerry as a human defend — which is precisely what Jerry thought Rick was doing! — and, after all, some pleasant banter between neighbors. (“Not now, Gene!”)
The present’s fifth season wrapped on Sept. 5, 2021, making it practically a full calendar 12 months since followers have gotten to feast. Again in Could, Grownup Swim gave a sequence order to Ricky and Morty: The Anime from director Takashi Sanok, who beforehand wrote and directed the anime shorts Rick and Morty vs. Genocider and Summer season Meets God (Rick Meets Evil).
