Some snorkellers obtained just a little too up shut and private with a bunch of humpbacks off Southport on the Gold Coast final week.
One of many group was thrown into the air after discovering himself within the path of the whale’s tail.
Queensland Youtubers Max Persyn and Jacqueline Payne had been snorkelling with humpbacks in waters off the Gold Coast after they captured the light giants’ second of mayhem.
Surrounded by three whales, the couple had been maintaining a tally of one beneath them, when the unbelievable occurred.
“Swiftly there was commotion behind us and somebody was up on the tail of the whale,” Payne stated.
The person on the tail was one among their tour guides, who was lifted from the water.
The tour information escaped unhurt.
“This was the primary time this had occurred to him however he was very ecstatic about it,” Persyn stated.
