Peacock has launched the primary teaser trailer for the collection Lockerbie: A Search For Reality, which is headed to Peacock within the US and UK this January.
The present relies on a real story, and it stars Colin Firth stars as Dr. Jim Swire, with Catherine McCormack, Rosanna Adams, Jemma Carlton, Harry Redding, Sam Troughton, Mark Bonner, Ardalan Esmaili, and Selwa Jghalef.
The collection is created by British playwright David Harrower (Outlaw King), from a script by Maryam Hamidi and Jim Sheridan. The collection episodes are directed by Otto Bathurst and Jim Loach.
The synopsis reads: “Impressed by the true-life story, on December 21, 1988, 259 passengers and crew have been killed when Pan Am Flight 103 exploded over Lockerbie 38 minutes after take-off, with an additional 11 residents shedding their life because the airplane got here down over the quiet, Scottish city.
“Within the wake of the catastrophe & his daughter’s demise, Dr Jim Swire (Colin Firth), is nominated the spokesperson for the UK victims’ households, who’ve united to demand reality and justice.
“Touring throughout continents and political divides, Jim embarks on a relentless journey that not solely jeopardizes his stability, household and life, however fully overturns his belief within the justice system. As the reality shifts beneath Jim’s ft, his view of the world is left eternally modified.”
This seems to be like a riveting collection about this heartbreaking catastrophe that claimed so many lives. Lockerbie: A Search For Reality can be launched on Peacock on January 2, 2025.
