Quincy Jones, a titan on this planet of music as each a producer and musician, died Nov. 3 on the age of 91. As information of his passing grew to become public, a lot of rock’s greatest names took to social media to pay their respects.
In a heartfelt put up to Instagram, Paul McCartney remembered Jones as a “nice man,” whereas praising his unbelievable profession.
“He was supremely gifted, and I felt privileged to have recognized him for a few years,” the Beatle wrote. “Quincy or ‘Quince’ or ‘Q’, as he was recognized, all the time had a twinkle in his eye and had a really optimistic, loving spirit which contaminated everybody who knew him. His work with Michael Jackson is, after all, legendary and he had so many different strings to his musical bow.”
“My important recollections of him have been all the time the non-public moments that we shared,” McCartney continued, “and I’ll by no means cease thanking Nancy for all the time arranging to go to him after we have been in Los Angeles. These visits have been enjoyable and galvanizing.”

In the meantime, Lenny Kravitz expressed “extraordinarily deep” love for Jones. “What a life. What an expression of authenticity. What a instructor,” Kravitz tweeted together with footage of himself with Jones. “I’m humbled that I used to be given the reward of your openness and friendship. I’m nonetheless processing… My deepest condolences and respects to the Jones household.”
