The daughter of a 63-year-old girl who died through the floods in North Queensland has paid tribute to her, saying she had a “huge coronary heart”.
Jessie Billy died when the SES boat she was on capsized in Ingham on February 2, through the peak of the flood emergency.
5 others on the boat, together with members of her prolonged household, have been saved.
Her solely daughter, Littiah Billy, final spoke to her mom when she referred to as to say she was being rescued.
“And while they have been arriving, I used to be simply attempting to verify she had all the things and mainly, I had the expectation I’d be speaking to her in like one other hour or so,” Littiah informed 9News.
As a substitute, Littiah obtained a name letting her know her mom had died.
