French publication Le10 Sport claims Hugo Ekitike made a mistake not becoming a member of Newcastle this summer time.
The younger striker ended up signing for PSG after Newcastle agreed take care of Reims for his switch.
The 20-year-old had a change of thoughts and determined to reject Newcastle for Ligue 1 winners whereas Newcastle broke their switch report with Alexander Isak’s signing in late August.
The previous Reims striker has logged solely 66 minutes up to now this season in 5 league matches.
Le10 state: ‘A mistake for the PSG participant? If Ekitike had signed with the Magpies, the previous Stade de Reims striker may have had much more taking part in time than he has at PSG.’
Newcastle boss Eddie Howe was reportedly a giant fan of younger striker and the Magpies would’ve assured taking part in time for the 20-year-old if the transfer materialized.
