Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, Game Director for Rebel Wolves’ The Blood of Dawnwalker, has confirmed on stream that the developer is working on a New Game Plus mode for the vampiric RPG.
“New Game Plus? Yes, it’s coming,” he said, before reiterating, “it’s coming. But I won’t tell you when.”
Rebel Wolves recently revealed that it has started hiring for the next chapter in the franchise, following news that The Blood of Dawnwalker had sold over one million copies just days after its launch. Speaking of the future of the series, it’s bee confirmed that players will be able to transfer their save files from The Blood of Dawnwalker to the next chapter in the saga, which at this point is obviously still a long way off.
Set during the 14th century in a fictional kingdom known as Vale Sangora, The Blood of Dawnwalker is set amidst bloody conflict and the sweeping plague of the Black Death, giving the vampire population the opportunity to emerge from the shadows and claim the freedom they have been craving for centuries. Players follow a Dawnwalker named Coen, who treads the line between the world of the day and the realm of night, who embarks on a quest to rescue his family — players have 30 days and nights to achieve their goal, but are free to explore the open world while not advancing the plot.
