I've been working on Circuit Swap as a solo developer, and it's been on Google Play for a while now. I've mostly been focused on developing and improving the game rather than actually showing it to people, so I'm trying to fix that. The basic idea is to move nodes around the board to close circuits within the allotted time. A circuit is a continuous path of one color connecting one edge of the board to another. Closing circuits scores points and adds time, and you can chain closures into combos. Tachyon Shifts rearrange the board as you play, which can sometimes cause additional circuits to close automatically. In the clip, I was going for a 4-circuit combo and triggered a Tachyon Shift that turned it into 5. There are different strategies available because a circuit doesn't score until you release the node, so it's also possible to set up and close multiple circuits at once. If you want to compare strategies, you can also play the same board as someone else. In Settings, change Seed from Random to Code and enter AndroidGaming. Everyone using the same seed gets the same starting board, and I'd be interested to see how you approach it. Circuit Swap is free to play on Android. It has ads, with optional purchases to remove them. Google Play: I'm the developer, so I'm happy to answer questions about the game or its development. submitted by /u/Dragonphire |
