Publisher THQ Nordic and developer Grimlore Games have announced the PlayStation 5 release date for their upcoming mythological action RPG sequel. The game is currently available on PC via Early Access.
Titan Quest II will launch on January 19, 2027, on the PlayStation Store. The game will be available for PS5 and will cost $59.99, according to Gematsu. PlayStation users can wishlist the game on the digital storefront for now.
The PC version launched in Early Access on August 1, 2025, and is currently priced at $34.99 on Steam. However, the price will increase to $49.99 when the game officially launches. The publisher has also confirmed that the official version 1.0 will arrive with the full release across all platforms.
What happens in the Titan Quest II trailer?
The 75-second trailer opens by introducing the antagonist, Nemesis, the Goddess of Retribution. As she descends upon the land, she asks, “At last, do you know who I am?” The trailer then showcases the game’s reimagined take on ancient Greece, featuring temples, ruins, and other structures as Nemesis declares, “I am a retribution herself. And you were marked for punishment long ago.”
The footage then showcases the unnamed protagonist picking up a sword and saying, “The lore of this world is made by those strong enough to fight for it. It’s time for blood.” Viewers can also see minibosses and other mythical enemies, including centaurs, gryphons, cyclopes, and ichthians.
The preview also highlights the handcrafted world and combat system across the reimagined world. Players can use different weapons, activate abilities, dodge attacks, and combine skills to defeat groups of enemies.
Beyond combat, the trailer teases a campaign centered on exploration and discovery. Players can discover hidden areas, magical artifacts, secrets, and towns filled with characters to meet and quests to complete. They can also travel through the world using the divine mount Areion.
