Pending transaction

I sent around $20 USD worth of LTC from Trust Wallet to a Litecoin address.
The transaction has been confirmed on the Litecoin blockchain and eventually reached 194+ confirmations. However, Trust Wallet continued showing the transaction as “Pending/In progress.”
The recipient says they never received the first transaction.
I got frustrated and sent a very small test transaction to the same address afterward, and that second transaction went through normally.
So I’m confused about what happened with the first transaction. Could the first transaction have an issue even though it has hundreds of confirmations? Why would Trust Wallet show it as pending while the second transaction worked normally?
