Amazon’s Prime Video has formally ordered a collection adaptation of God of Struggle, which relies on PlayStation’s common historical mythology-themed motion online game.
The collection is being co-produced by Sony Footage Tv and Amazon Studios in affiliation with PlayStation Productions. Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby (Iron Man, Youngsters of Males) are writing the collection with Rafe Judkins (The Wheel of Time) serving as showrunner.
The collection follows Kratos, the God of Struggle, who, “after exiling himself from his blood-soaked previous in historical Greece, hangs up his weapons ceaselessly within the Norse realm of Midgard. When his beloved spouse dies, Kratos units off on a harmful journey along with his estranged son to unfold her ashes from the best peak—his spouse’s remaining want. Kratos quickly realizes the journey is an epic quest in disguise, one which is able to check the bonds between father and son, and power Kratos to battle new Gods and monsters for the destiny of the world.”

Judkins govt produces the collection with Oscar nominees Fergus and Ostby in addition to Santa Monica Studio’s Studio Inventive Director, Cory Barlog. Further govt producers embody Ps Productions Asad Qizilbash and Carter Swan, Santa Monica Studio’s Yumi Yang in addition to Vertigo’s Roy Lee. Santa Monica Studio’s Jeff Ketcham will function a co-executive producer.
