A Christmas Eve flip as a lifesaving hero in 2018 made Melbourne Storm star, and former nipper, Harry Grant all too conscious of the perils of the waters folks will flock to this summer time.
Grant was strolling together with his dad and mom at unpatrolled Oxley Seashore in Port Macquarie, NSW after they noticed two girls struggling within the surf and he “did what anybody would do” and jumped in to pull them to security.
Having spent his teen years patrolling seashores at Yeppoon all Grant’s instincts kicked in.
“I Simply went all the way down to the seaside within the morning with my mum and pa, after which heard somebody in a little bit of strife , I didn’t actually know what it was,” Grant recalled.
“A mom and daughter acquired dragged out to sea in a rip, and anybody would have achieved the identical factor, and instincts took over and we helped them wherein fairly particular to see how grateful they had been.
