Sky Information host Peta Credlin has accused Prime Minister Anthony Albanese of “doing a dodgy” with the Palestinian visas.
The Opposition on Thursday criticised the federal authorities’s dealing with of the Palestinian visas following Sky Information Australia host Sharri Markson’s revelation earlier this week that 2,273 individuals who maintain a Palestinian Authority journey doc have been given Australian visas between October 7 and February 6.
Of these permitted refugees, solely about 330 have been in a position to make it to Australia.
Deputy Secretary of Immigration Michael Willard admitted to Senate Estimates that the medium processing time for a customer visa globally is simply at some point.
“Frankly, relating to border safety, this authorities is having a lend of us but once more,” Ms Credlin stated.
“We shouldn’t be bringing anybody to Australia – from Gaza – except we’re as certain as we could be that they don’t seem to be a safety threat.”
