According to the BBC, when someone hacks the SEC’s X account to make a fake post about Bitcoin they’re a "Bitcoin hacker". Unlike the SEC’s X account and the BBC itself, Bitcoin has never been hacked.

There's a notion amongst many who Bitcoin = Rip-off. A lot of this stems from a long-standing false narrative by mainstream media implying Bitcoin is by some means culpable relating to criminality. As Bitcoin doesn't sue in the best way a company would, it makes it a better goal.

Final 12 months the when BBC information was stolen in a hack the BBC have been fast to report this was a "MOVEit hack" if which they have been a "sufferer". Different information shops weren't so clear/ variety implying the BBC was hacked.
