A 3-year-old boy allegedly murdered by his father in a southern Sydney unit has been remembered by heartbroken household as “an angel in life and dying”.
The Day by day Telegraph experiences Alexis Vikatos, 3, was discovered useless within the rest room of a unit in Riverwood on Wednesday afternoon with deadly stab wounds.
Police stated his father Nathan Vikatos, 45, was present in one other room bleeding closely from a self-inflicted knife wound, and was rushed to hospital for remedy.

Mr Vikatos was later charged with Alexis’ alleged homicide and refused bail.

“He was at all times joyful … we’re all heartbroken”
Devastated relations instructed the Day by day Telegraph Alexis was a “lovely, joyful boy” who struggled after dropping his mom.
“What has occurred is simply tragic … however we don’t need it to overshadow what a stupendous boy Alexis was,” a relative stated.
“He was at all times joyful … he cherished vehicles and diggers … we’re all heartbroken.”
The Day by day Telegraph experiences Alexis’ mum Jessica Marett died when he was 12 months outdated, leaving Mr Vikatos to lift the boy with the assistance of his mom on the Central Coast.

“Alexis, I am so sorry darling boy”
A girl who babysat Alexis repeatedly instructed the Day by day Telegraph she was “damaged” by his dying.
She stated Alexis had suffered from speech delays which she helped him overcome, and they’d spend hours collectively on the seashore or enjoying along with her canine.
“He referred to as me Mum … he excelled at talking and confidence while I babysat him,” she stated.
“Alexis, I’m so sorry darling boy … I cherished babysitting you.”

Dad’s “altercation” earlier than alleged homicide
Mr Vikatos reportedly left the Central Coast eight weeks in the past and moved to Medlow Bathtub within the Blue Mountains.
Police made the horrific discovery hours after Mr Vikatos’ present associate contacted police claiming he had been violent in direction of her on the Medlow Bathtub dwelling.
The Day by day Telegraph experiences the couple had an “altercation” within the days previous to the alleged homicide, and Mr Vikatos took the kid to stick with a member of the family in Riverwood.
