Throughout an interview with ComingSoon speaking about Lou, which is now streaming on Netflix, Allison Janney delved into what it was like to point out off her badass facet.

When requested about how she reacted to the action-oriented pitch for Lou, Janney described why motion appeals to her.
“I grew up with two brothers, so I needed to point out what I put them by means of,” she joked. “I used to be fairly bodily rising up and really athletic. I used to be in search of a film like this. I didn’t assume I’d be fortunate sufficient, at my age, to discover a function like this. When it got here, I needed to pinch myself somewhat bit, as a result of I believed, ‘that is precisely what I’ve been wanting, what I’ve been eager about. Am I actually going to do it? Can I do it?’ After which I mentioned, sure. After which I used to be terrified that, ‘oh my God, I’ve received to actually do it.’”
Janney then mentioned working with co-star Jurnee Smollett, who she describes as a badass herself.
“After which I’m so glad that I received partnered with Jurnee as a result of she is such a badass and such a present to me to do that film with as a result of she threw herself into every part with me. She was not shy about any of the weather we needed to battle and any of the character improvement we needed to uncover collectively, it was only a nice expertise. I’m so fortunate. So it’s a dream job that I received to do.”

Lou stars Allison Janney and Emmy Award nominee Jurnee Smollett alongside Logan Marshall-Inexperienced and Ridley Asha Bateman. Anna Foerster directed the movie from a screenplay by Maggie Cohn and Jack Stanley, with Unhealthy Robotic’s JJ Abrams, Hannah Minghella, and Jon Cohen set to supply. The movie debuted on Netflix on September 23.
