Hours after tech specs declared that Apple Imaginative and prescient Professional might stream video to an iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV in 1080p, the tech specs have been revised downward.
Apparently, the checklist of appropriate streaming targets contains the decade-old second era Apple TV, which was solely able to 720p streaming. It wasn’t till the third era that 1080p streaming was added to the system.
It is unclear why the change was made. AirPlay display mirroring from a Mac to focus on system is restricted to 1080p, however an AirPlay goal can even choose up a video stream from the supply when directed by a tool.
As an example, a Mac can mirror a show to an Apple TV at 1080p. That very same Mac can ship a video stream’s community knowledge to a tool like an Apple TV, and it’ll stream natively on the Apple TV and not using a “middle-man” system.
Within the case of an Apple Imaginative and prescient Professional’s eye screens, that is clearly the previous, not the latter. AppleInsider has reached out to Apple for remark and clarification.
