Former Victorian Liberal Celebration president Michael Kroger says Australia “doesn’t want extra politicians” in response to Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s proposed parliament growth.
“We’re over-governed as a nation, let’s get this into our heads, we’re a small-ish nation nonetheless, we have now native authorities, we have now state authorities, we have now federal authorities,” Mr Kroger informed Sky Information host Paul Murray.
“This nation doesn’t want extra politicians chewing up the nationwide dialog all day, on daily basis.
“No to extra politicians and no to altering the system to a decrease home Senate fashion, no simply depart it as it’s, the system works very nicely.”
