Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio, who portrayed basic Marvel Comics characters Daredevil and The Kingpin, respectively, have joined the Disney+ collection Echo, which stars Hawkeye breakout Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez. Marvel had no remark.
The transfer is the newest signal of Marvel Studios’ efforts to weave in fashionable characters from Netflix’s now-defunct Marvel reveals resembling Daredevil into the fold. Sources say Echo will embody a plotline wherein Daredevil, whose alter ego is blind lawyer Matt Murdoch, is seeking out a former ally. Podcast The Weekly Planet has reported that ally is Jessica Jones, one other Marvel character who toplined her personal Netflix collection and was performed by Krysten Ritter.
