Following their large grunge anthem “Take Form,” which featured the Smashing Pumpkins luminary Billy Corgan, Code Orange are again with one other unpredictable monitor known as “Mirror.”
The Pittsburgh band’s newest providing from their forthcoming album, The Above (out Sept. 29), is without doubt one of the greatest left turns they’ve ever taken; a moody, elastic trip-hop monitor with mournful strings, delicate piano, and a blowout vocal efficiency from Reba Meyers that’s by far probably the most tuneful hook Code Orange have ever delivered.

“This tune has a particular place in my coronary heart,” Meyers says. “To me, it’s the climax of this model of my writing on this band so far. Have a look within the mirror, are you bored?”
