In a video interview on The CEO Present podcast with host Datwon Thomas, which premiered on America Nu Community’s YouTube channel on Saturday (Oct. 14), Dame Sprint opened up about his estranged relationship with fellow Roc-A-Fella Data co-founder Jay-Z.

“After I take a look at what occurred between me and Jay it is like I blame Jay for letting it occur however all of the individuals that basically made it occur are those which can be…benefiting from him probably the most now,” he stated on the 13:57-mark within the video beneath. “I used to be stopping them from getting cash.”

Dame is referring to him, Jay and Kareem Burke promoting Roc-A-Fella Data for a reported $10 million. The sale of their storied rap label has reportedly left Dame and Jay at odds with one another through the years. Nonetheless, Dame stated that he is prepared to speak with Jay to settle their disagreement.

Dame Sprint Says He Has No Beef With Jay-Z

Regardless of their disagreement, Dame Sprint insists he has no beef with Jay-Z. He added that he can name on Hov anytime for a favor and it is no downside.

“We’re not on a non-speaking factor,” he defined. “Our relationship so far as like if I requested for one thing that he may need like a a plug with for like reveals and shit like that I would be like all proper yeah.”

“[But] we actually must have a dialog,” Dame added.
