Police have been referred to as to an early voting centre at Ashfield City Corridor on Liverpool Street at round 1pm immediately following reviews of an assault.
The person, believed to be aged in his 80s, was handled on the scene and has been taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a severe situation.
Police arrested a 17-year-old boy on the scene.
He has been taken to Burwood Police Station the place he’s aiding with an investigation.
Against the law scene has been established.
The Australian Electoral Fee (AEC) stated it’s conscious of the incident however confirmed the sufferer was not an election employee.
