The trailer for Loki Season 2 provides us our first take a look at Ke Huy Quan’s new Marvel character. When he seems within the trailer, he’s sporting a jumpsuit with an “O.B.” on it. That nearly actually stands for ouroboros, the snake eatings its personal tail, an historical image for the cyclical nature of life. And that matches completely with the themes of Loki, which in Season 1 was all about how Loki himself was this trickster god trapped in an infinite cycle of demise and rebirth, and how time itself was portrayed as an infinite causal loop, with the multiverse increasing and contracting because of the actions of He Who Stays and numerous different Kangs. There’s even an ouroboros image on O.B.’s jumpsuit if you happen to look intently.
That’s simply one of many many Easter eggs, little particulars, and hidden Marvel Cinematic Universe references you might need missed within the first trailer for Loki Season 2.
