A brand new trailer has been launched by HBO for Season 2 of the space-set comedy sequence Avenue 5. Season 1 aired again in March 2020, when the world was thrown into upheaval with the pandemic, and we’re lastly seeing the trailer for the second season, which seems equally tumultuous. This would be the remaining season of the present, and HBO describes it as follows:
“Avenue 5 takes us to a not-so-distant future the place area tourism is a booming enterprise. Whereas manning a luxurious spacecraft owned by Herman Judd (Josh Gad), Captain Ryan Clark (Hugh Laurie) finds himself in over his head when the ship is thrown disastrously off-course—turning what was meant to be an eight-week cruise into an eight-year journey. Choosing up 5 months after failing to reroute the vessel, season two follows the crew—together with fiery engineer Billie (Lenora Crichlow), unpredictable head of buyer relations Matt (Zach Woods), and trustworthy right-hand Iris (Suzy Nakamura)—as they wrestle to steer, calm, management, and, if want be, cover from more and more unruly passengers. On Earth, they’re lauded as heroes, and in area, everybody can hear them scream.”
The remainder of the ensemble solid contains Rebecca Entrance, Nikki Amuka-Fowl, and Ethan Phillips, in addition to visitor stars Andy Buckley, Jessica St. Clair, Kyle Bornheimer, Adam Pålsson, Daisy Might Cooper, Lucy Punch, Leila Farzad, Jonathan Aris, and Arsher Ali.
