Extinction Insurrection supporters have entered Britain’s Home of Commons debating chamber and superglued themselves across the speaker’s chair, the group says on their Twitter account.
They posted a photograph of 5 individuals contained in the chamber holding banners studying ‘Let the individuals determine’ and ‘Residents’ Meeting now’.
Parliament is just not at present sitting.
The Home of Commons didn’t instantly have a press release. Sure areas of the parliamentary property are often open to the general public, though entry to the debating chamber is often restricted to guided excursions.
Extinction Insurrection, a bunch which has beforehand brought on days of visitors chaos in central London, usually protest local weather change points.
