A cyber-attack on a resort reservation system has uncovered the private information of hundreds of company who stayed at upscale Finnish lodges.
Information of the safety incident, which has impacted at the least 5 lodges, was first reported by Finnish information company MTV on Tuesday.
Between February 10 and 14, cyber-attackers exploited a vulnerability to hack into the corporate’s laptop system that provides the reserving system to a number of lodges throughout Finland. After the hack was found on April 9, the vulnerability was patched.
