Founding Firehouse singer CJ Snare died Friday night time at age 64 of unspecified causes.
“It’s with nice sorrow we’re letting the world know we now have misplaced our brother: CJ Snare, the rock and roll warrior, lead vocalist, and a founding member of Firehouse,” the band wrote on their Fb web page. “CJ snare handed unexpectedly at dwelling Friday night time, April 5, 2024. He was a younger 64 years previous. … We’re all in full shock with CJ’s premature passing.”
Snare co-founded Firehouse within the late ’80s, and remained within the group alongside guitarist Invoice Leverty and drummer Michael Foster for almost 4 many years. He co-wrote all three of the band’s high 20 hits: 1991’s “Do not Deal with Me Dangerous” and “Love of a Lifetime” and 1992’s “After I Look Into Your Eyes.”

In 2023 Snare underwent unspecified surgical procedure and was briefly compelled off the highway, however he had been anticipated to return to reside performances this summer season.
