Government has ‘no plans’ to introduce an inheritance tax

Labor MP Andrew Charlton says the federal government has “no plans” to introduce an inheritance tax.

Productiveness Fee member Danielle Wooden proposed an inheritance tax or ‘loss of life tax’ for the richest Australians who plan on passing their property to their households after they die.
