After debuting two new songs dwell at When We Had been Younger pageant and an intimate pre-WWWY present, Inexperienced Day have now introduced their 14th album, Saviors. It comes out Jan. 19, 2024 through Reprise/Warner (preorder). It finds the band working with their longtime producer Rob Cavallo for the primary time in over 10 years, and the announcement is accompanied by the official launch of “The American Dream Is Killing Me.”
“As quickly we minimize it, we mentioned, `OK, that’s going first,” Billie Joe Armstrong says. He calls the tune “a take a look at the way in which the normal American Dream doesn’t work for lots of people — in truth, it’s hurting lots of people,” and it comes with a noir-ish, black-and-white, zombie apocalypse-themed music video directed by Brendan Walter and Ryan Baxley. Saviors is an invite into Inexperienced Day’s mind, their collective spirit as a band, and an understanding of friendship, tradition and legacy of the final 30 plus years.

Inexperienced Day will play Amazon Music Dwell’s live performance sequence on Thursday (Oct. 26), they usually’re headlining the Twisted Tea Gray Cup Halftime Present for the one hundred and tenth Gray Cup in Ontario on Nov. 19. In addition they introduced onstage at that intimate Vegas present that they’ll do a stadium tour in 2024 with the Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid, and the Linda Lindas. Dates and cities for that tour are nonetheless TBA.
