Gucci Mane’s 1017 World Music file label is now down to 2 artists after the Atlanta rapper and CEO not too long ago introduced he has purged his roster.
Gucci Mane Declares Label Replace
On Friday (Oct. 18), Gucci Mane shared a put up on Instagram offering an replace on the standing of his file label. Apparently, the shakeups within the music business have made Guwop determine to take drastic measures, which embody dropping the vast majority of his artists.
“I am taking a look at my [profit and loss statement], and me being a businessman, I feel that I will need to launch virtually all of my artists, aside from Pooh Shiesty and Foogiano,” Gucci says within the video, which will be seen under. “It is a choice I did not need to make. I considered it. I may preserve all of them underneath the contract. However I stated, ‘Hey, f**ok it, let’s simply make the unselfish choice and allow them to take their abilities elsewhere.'”
With that being stated, Bic Fizzle, BigWalkDog, Brezden, HotBoy West, Kato2X, Li Rye, Lil Zay, Mac Critter, FTO Sett and TLE Cinco are actually with out label properties.
Curiously, the 2 rappers Guwop determined to maintain on is roster are each in jail. In April of 2022, Pooh Shiesty was sentenced to over 5 years in jail after pleading responsible to a firearm conspiracy cost. The next month, Foogiano was sentenced to 5 years in jail after eradicating his ankle monitor and happening the run when he was on bond for a firearm possession cost.
