An Indiana State Consultant is dealing with critical backlash after he flashed his gun to a bunch of teenagers protesting gun violence.
On Tuesday, a video began making rounds on X (Twitter) displaying a right-wing politician strategy a bunch of scholars from Burris Laboratory College in Munice, Indiana who have been protesting gun violence within the Indiana Statehouse, in line with TheStatehouseFile.com. The kids are part of an advocacy group referred to as College students Demand Motion and have been within the Statehouse for an occasion referred to as Advocacy Day, hoping to get lawmakers to take heed to their perspective.

What they bought as a substitute, although, was a horrifying movement from one in all their state’s lawmakers. Consultant Jim Lucas was requested by one of many teenagers if he carried a gun, and this man opens his blazer and flashes his hid weapon to them! He says within the video:

WTF??

Talking to the outlet, one of many protesters, 17-year-old Alana Trissel made a beautiful level:

So terrible. These poor college students.
And, in fact, the State Rep sees nothing mistaken together with his actions! He took to Fb on Wednesday, to defend himself, in line with The Indianapolis Star, writing:

Coming from the person who has been arrested previously 12 months for OWI and fleeing the scene, to not point out how he posted a photograph of a noose in response to a Black man being convicted in court docket in 2019… Yeah. The children asking for security of their lecture rooms are the clear situation right here! Ugh.
