Academy Award winner J.Okay. Simmons (Whiplash, Spider-Man) has joined director David Ayer’s (Finish of Watch, Fury) upcoming survival drama, Coronary heart of the Beast.
Simmons will star reverse Brad Pitt (Se7en, Battle Membership) within the movie scripted by Cameron Alexander, who will govt produce.
The movie follows a former Military Particular Forces soldier and his retired fight canine who battle for survival after a aircraft crash deep within the unforgiving Alaskan wilderness.
It’s the second time that Simmons has labored with Ayer after the 2005 Christian Bale crime drama Harsh Occasions, and the third time he’s starred in a Pitt film after 2001’s The Mexican and the Coen brothers’ George Clooney-Frances McDormand 2008 comedy caper Burn After Studying.
Damien Chazelle and Olivia Hamilton are producing beneath their Wild Chickens Productions banner as a part of their first-look take care of the studio. Different producers embody Ayer beneath his Crave Movies banner, Temple Hill Leisure, and two-time Oscar winner Pitt beneath his Plan B banner. Richard Raymond is co-producing.
