9 Information Perth reporters Jerrie Demasi and Michael Genovese have welcomed a child lady into the world.
The couple shared their pleasure as they revealed that their first little one, Tommie, was born on Thursday, August 4.
Demasi shared a collection of pictures on Instagram.
“The perfect day of our lives,” she wrote.
“Welcome my child lady.
“Tommie Genovese. Born 04/08 at a teeny 2.6kg.”

Demasi instructed WAtoday that Tommie – named after Demasi’s grandmother Thomai – arrived two weeks early and required a caesarean part, which she mentioned was “fairly traumatising”.
The duo are overjoyed to be dad and mom.
“Clearly infants are born on a regular basis, however when it is your child it simply feels so particular,” Genovese instructed the 9-owned information outlet.
“It is an unbelievable feeling.”

In an article for 9Honey three months in the past, Demasi opened up about her expertise of being pregnant.
“I am sure we’ll face our fair proportion of challenges,” she wrote to her future little one.
“I do know that I will not get every little thing proper. However I promise I’ll do my finest to information you, love you, and maintain your hand via all of it. I can not wait to be your Mummy.”
Genovese and Demasi have been married since 2019.
