The acclaimed Lebanese filmmaker Nadine Labaki obtained the celebrated FIAPF Award for Excellent Contribution to Asia Pacific Cinema on the fifteenth version of the Asia Pacific Display Awards (APSA) Ceremony on the Gold Coast in Australia.
The FIAPF Award celebrates filmmakers from the area whose works contribute to creating the Asia Pacific movie business.
Being the winner of main awards, the Oscar-nominated Lebanese actress, director, and activist Nadine Labaki has many acclaimed movies in her portfolio, together with Caramel; The place Do We Go Now?, which received the Individuals’s Alternative Award on the Toronto Movie Pageant; and others.
