Lebanese resistance (Phalangists) on its 50 years of existence

Lebanese resistance – no, the opposite one – the one which was birthed (supposedly) by the onset of the struggle 50 years in the past (April 13, 1975). Properly, guess what they’re celebrating this within the Ain el Roumaneh – Chiyah stadium with the slogan “our trigger is resistance, our challenge is Lebanon”. Properly, apparently, we now have heard this from completely different factions standing on completely different sides of the fault line, however hey, it’s catchy and it impresses individuals. The statue depicted within the advert is for the Phalangists within the Ain el Roumaneh – Chiyah (right here). I’m not positive, however the statue is completed from empty shells, if these return to the time of struggle or not is past me. Faint traces of the statue on-line point out it was finished by artist Sami Hatem.
