England’s Charley Hull and China’s Xiyu Lin are tied for the lead after the third spherical of the LPGA Tour’s The Ascendant match in Texas.
Lin fired a two-under 69 and Hull carded a 71 on the Previous American course at The Colony on Saturday to be locked at 11-under 202.
The pair are one shot forward of New Zealand’s former world No.1 Lydia Ko (67) and France’s Celine Boutier (66) with Canada’s Maddie Szeryk (67) an additional shot again.
Final week’s tour winner Atthaya Thitikul (72), Moriya Jutanugarn (70) and So Yeon Ryu (68) sit tied for sixth at eight below, three photographs again.
The lone remaining Australian, Karis Davidson continued her promising type with a 71 to be tied twenty fifth at two below.
Lin recorded three birdies for her spherical earlier than a bogey on the par-3 sixteenth.
“I believe general capturing below par, I am fairly proud of it,” Lin stated. “However the one factor is I completed the spherical a bit of weaker. I make a bogey on 16 and did not handle to get birdie on 17 and 18. So, I believe tomorrow hopefully I am going to do higher than that.”
Hull survived a double-bogey on the par-4 tenth. She completed with three birdies and a bogey.
“Truly felt like I performed fairly properly, particularly the primary two holes,” Hull stated. “Like I lipped out for birdies, hit good putts, after which early birdie early on the fourth. After which was like 1-under the entrance 9. Disgrace about that one, as a result of that was a double. However I simply hung in there and bought round degree par, so it wasn’t too unhealthy.”
