Los Espookys won’t be scaring up a 3rd season at HBO. At the very least not any time quickly.
“We’re thrilled we might ship the distinctive and hilarious second season of Los Espookys to viewers lastly, greater than three years after the collection premiere, resulting from pandemic delays,” HBO says in a press release. “We thank Julio, Ana, and Fred for this imaginative and delightfully weird world they created. Created by Julio Torres, Ana Fabrega and Fred Armisen, Los Espookys chronicled a “group of associates who flip their love for horror right into a peculiar enterprise, offering horror to those that want it, in a dreamy Latin American nation the place the unusual and eerie are simply a part of each day life,” per HBO’s official description.
The present’s second season starred Fabrega, Torres, Cassandra Ciangherotti, Bernardo Velasco and Armisen. Recurring forged members included José Pablo Minor, River L. Ramirez, Giannina Fruttero, Carmen Gloria Bresky, Eudora Peterson, Greta Titelman, Spike Einbinder, Sam Taggart and Martine Gutierrez.
Los Espookys wrapped its second (and now closing) season on Oct. 21.
