Main floods are threatening Victoria with extreme thunderstorms lashing the state.
The state’s central area is being hit the toughest with evacuation warnings in place for elements of Seymour and Yea, with the flood waters from the Goulburn River set to hit seven metres.
Shepparton Mayor Shane Sali has given an replace on the heavy rain in Shepparton.
“Clearly a big quantity of rain has fallen south of the place we’re right here in larger Shepperton, and clearly that water makes its means down the stream through the Goulburn River,” Mr Sali instructed Sky Information host Caleb Bond.
“We’re anticipating a peak of round 11 metres from Wednesday onwards,” he mentioned.
Round 3,000 Victorians stay with out energy, and the SES has acquired over 1,200 requests for help.
