A person has been charged after allegedly smashing a glass door on the ABC’s internal Sydney headquarters.
Police responded to stories of a disturbance on the public broadcaster’s constructing at Harris St, Ultimo, on Wednesday afternoon.
“Officers hooked up to Sydney Metropolis Police Space Command arrived to discover a 48-year-old man had allegedly shattered a glass door,” NSW Police stated in a press release.
The person was arrested and and charged with destroying or damaging property in addition to getting into prescribed premises with no lawful excuse.
The person was refused bail to look earlier than Downing Centre Native Courtroom on Thursday.
An ABC spokesperson stated no employees had been harmed in the course of the incident.
